Hey guys, yes I'm new here, and fairly new to linux as well. I have been running a redhat 9 server for quite a while now, it doesn't do much more than just run Samba all day long and hold a bunch of data.
Well of course I accidentally deleted some stuff! I stopped the delete halfway through so I really just need to know what files actually got deleted. They can be replaced, I just need to know which ones got zapped. Is that possible?
No, I never did anything like that.... am I screwed?
Maybe not, depends. You say the files can be replaced, so you could use a listing of those files to compare with what's left on the share, right?
