Smile Finding a newly installed package

Dear Folks,

I have just installed clam antivirus and associated packages on my Deb 4.0 desktop m/c. I used synaptic package manager to do this. I run KDE desktop, but can't find the package anywhere even though synaptic says it has finished the install.

Any Ideas?

Thanks
Greeb

clamav has no GUI, you need to use it via the command line
open a terminal
type
clam
then hit TAB
to see all the programs

http://clamtk.sourceforge.net/
It's in the Debian repositories for Lenny, but I don't see it in etch...

There is also nautilus-clamscan, but that's for integration with gnome.
https://launchpad.net/nautilus-clamscan
Again, in the Lenny repos but not the Etch repos. .
