Filesystem for SolidStateDisk system
I am interested to replace my hard drive on my Debian system with an IDE-connector SolidStateDisk / Flash Module to eliminate noise and all moving parts. As an 'intermediate' linux user, I understand that the flash module comes with wear levelling controller, but is there still something to be done in terms of file system / swap partition to prevent undue wear on the flash. thanks

Well, maybe it helps if you search for tipps on this issue for USB sticks. Basically it's the same. Best way to prevent wear is not to use it ;)
