Question File size monitor

Does anyone know of a good utility to monitor the size of a file? I'm running Nagios, and find that I am hitting a wall from time to time on the size of the nagios.log file, which grows to over 2 GB (I'm monitoring over 100 servers). Anyway, it would be nice to have a utility that will either delete the fiel when it hits a certain size, or send me an e-mail letting me know... something like that.

Thanks,

- Yaron

Why not put a script, that uses du <file> to monitor the size, as a cron job?
