file size limit exceeded squid...

hi,

I am in a new problem., hope you guys will help me. Squid running in my server has
gone down. The messages it gives are:
Squid -sy >> /usr/local/squid/squid.out 2>&1
RunCache:line 35:1852 File size limit exceeded
squid -NsY $conf >> $logdir/squid.out 2>&1
(this repeats for some times....)
EXITING DUE TO REPEATE,FREQUENT FAILURES
-----------------
Tried to nmap myself and found that there is no 3128 port open after that
and ps -A didnt show squid running copy after that.
df showed that disk is only 15% used. So there is no question of
disk being full..
----------
hope for your help.I am in a big doldrums.bye.
AND
my OS: RHLinux 7.0

Its because that it seems there is a max amount of size of directory/file which our linux kernel can handle..and kernel gives the problem when limit exceeds....seems so...hmmm..
how the problem got solved??
>>>
what was done was remove *.log files from /usr/local/squid/logs and presto..the squid was back into operation...anway thnx guys for ur replies and interests..
