Fiefox launches Gecko Window unless ran as root

Whenever I try launching Firefox as a user it opens a Gecko window saying title="&mainWindow.title;"

If i run it as root, however, it runs fine.

Any ideas how to fix this?

I'm running KDE 3.3 on Fedora Core 2 and the latest version of FIrefox.

Thanks in advance,

Sounds like it may be a screwed profile. Move your profile out of the way - don't delete it unless you want to recreate your bookmarks and so on - and try again. The profile directory could be ~/.mozilla/firefox, ~/.firefox or ~/.phoenix.
