I assume that is a Mint Q -- you really ought to explicitly say what distro the you are asking about.
While most of us who can help are aware that
synaptic implies Debian-based, that still isn't enough to give you the specific advice you need.
General advice -- uninstall the same package you used to install KDE.
If (the biggest
* word in the English language) you were using Ubuntu, the special package install KDE is
kubuntu-desktop. If that pkg. is also available in Mint, perhaps uninstalling
kubuntu-desktop will clean out all traces of KDE for you.
BTW, did it install 3.x or 4.y?
