Fetchmail SSL certificate problems

Slackware 13.1

When I use fetcmail 6.3.17+SSL+NLS to download mail from the Yahoo pop server, I get the following messages:

Quote:

fetchmail: Server certificate verification error: unable to get local issuer certificate
fetchmail: This means that the root signing certificate (issued for /C=US/ST=California/L=Santa Clara/O=Yahoo! Inc./OU=Yahoo/CN=pop.mail.yahoo.com) is not in the trusted CA certificate locations, or that c_rehash needs to be run on the certificate directory. For details, please see the documentation of --sslcertpath and --sslcertfile in the manual page.
fetchmail: Server certificate verification error: certificate not trusted
fetchmail: Server certificate verification error: unable to verify the first certificate
fetchmail: Warning: the connection is insecure, continuing anyways. (Better use --sslcertck!)
I know absolutely nothing about this certificate stuff - I don't even know where they are stored etc. I have run c_rehash as root, as I read that might do some good - but it hasn't.

Solved

OK, I solved it. I'm not on the latest release, so I went and had a look at the newest release Slackware 13.7 and in the network (n) directory I saw a package for ca certificates. I installed it, ran c_rehash, ran fetchmail - no problems
