Fetchmail - leave copy on server

I am using fetchmail to retrieve messages from several mailboxes at our ISP. My .fetchmailrc contains the poll commands for each mailbox, and they all work fine. However I would like one of the polls to download new messages but leave a copy of them on the server. I have found had a hunt about on the web, and found two commands - uidl and keep, but I got some errors when I added them to .fetchmailrc about them being in the wrong place. If my poll lines look like the following, where do I put the uidl (if needed) and the keep commands so that the first mailbox is collected and deleted, and the second is collected and kept?

#Retrieve and delete messages
poll pop.ispmailserver.com proto pop3
localdomains mydomain.co.uk
user "user1" with password "user1password" is user1 here

#Retrieve new messages but leave copy in ISP mailbox
poll pop.ispmailserver.com proto pop3
localdomains mydomain.co.uk
user "user2" with password "user2password" is user2 here

This is a really good place to go for fetchmail needs.

http://www.catb.org/~esr/fetchmail/fetchmail-man.html#5

The following excerpt from the page linked above is quoted here.

It’s possible to specify more than one user per server (this is only likely to be useful when running fetchmail in daemon mode as root). The ‘user’ keyword leads off a user description, and every user specification in a multi-user entry must include it. Here’s an example:

poll pop.provider.net proto pop3 port 3111
user "jsmith" with pass "secret1" is "smith" here
user jones with pass "secret2" is "jjones" here keep

This associates the local username ‘smith’ with the pop.provider.net username ‘jsmith’ and the local username ‘jjones’ with the pop.provider.net username ‘jones’. Mail for ‘jones’ is kept on the server after download.
