Fedora core 6 system freezing at "starting console mouse services"

Hi there,
I am new to linux and please excuse me if i post in the wrong forum but this forum sounded appropriate to me.

I am trying to install Fedora Core 6 on my pc. It installs fine but after the installation it tells me to reboot my system. when i reboot my system it does not boot up completely. The system just freezes at "starting console mouse services".

I have tried reinstalling but i face same error again. I googled it but could not find anything appropriate.

Please anyone help, i am really looking forward for you experts to help me.
Thanks.
