Fedora Core 3 login screen!

simply put, i am running Fedora Core 3 (kde) and the 'Bluecurve' login screen kindda bugs me being blue! i simply want to change it to black instead of blue! how do i do it??

do i have to edit the /etc/X11/gdm/gdm.conf file?? and if i do, what exactly do i edit??
