Fedora 8 - VMware - No Internet

Last time I was here, my problem was solved (no internet in Fedora). Now that I know a bit more, I've gotten into VMware because it's needed for university. NOW, I've configured VMware Player so that the only ethernet connection it has (.vmnet0) is bridged to eth0, which is functional in normal OS (no emulation).

Any suggestions? It seems that I need to specify my DNS servers at startup (which is how my other problem was solved). Is this possible? Since I can't get to any GUI before I get a stop error from the Player that it isn't able to acquire resources (it needs to connect to the net first thing).

It's pretty late here, so if more information is needed (or clearing up of this garbage, haha) then please tell me.

The .vmx file I'm using is an Ubuntu distro (not sure which version), but I may be able to find out.

It's not urgent as I can just use VMware player for Windows on my Windows PC and that would solve the problem, but that would be a tad inconvenient!

Thanks,
Pat.
