FC6 update causes freeze at udev
 

I was running FC6 without trouble and I usually take updates without watching every step. Last night I applied updates and my computer froze I had to restart and noted during boot processs my usb devices were not being recognized. It stopped at udev gave me a frozen computer with a blank screen. Repeat the reboot process same result. I reinstalled FC6 ran without problem, applied updates, a glutton for punishment, and same result as above. Any help will be appreciated. Since SUSE move to Novell and Novell now
teaming up with MS I fear the days of SUSE are numbered.

It would help if you described your system. Then we could tell you more precisely what it is. There is a log file called dmesg in /var/log and it would tell you what happened or where it stopped.
