FC5 no sound in Enemy Territory


Whats up with this? I've already googled this and found lots of ppl with the same problems but non of their answers worked for me.

Type "su -" (the "-" will bring you to the root tree needed for modprobe).

Type: "modprobe snd_pcm_oss"

Next type: "echo "et.x86 0 0 direct" > /proc/asound/card0/pcm0p/oss"

...and it will work.

PS: These aren't permanent settings and will be undone after a reboot.
