FC3 - K3b not recognizing mp3s w/ k3b-mp3 installed!
 

I am attempting to make k3b recognize my mp3s so I can burn them to an audio cd. First, I installed k3b-mp3 with yum (and all the dependencies), then tried to drag my mp3s into the burning area - it didn't work.

I reinstalled k3b with k3b-mp3 using yum as well as apt. It still isn't working. I've been trying to get it to work for about an hour and a half now.

Does anyone have any ideas? I NEED to get this working soon or bad things will happen. Thanks.

If you have all the necessary things installed to burn mp3s then your problem is related to bad mp3 decoding. Get a tool called audacity and use that to re-encode your mp3s, it should work then.

I've tried all suggestions here and none have worked in getting mp3 support for audio cd creation... Dunno.
