FC2 and WU-Ftpd

I have installed WU-Ftpd on my Fedora Core 2 system and have tested access using IE 6 from both insid eand outside, the same thing happens either way. I log in but none of the files that I have copied to the directory are visiable. I have checked the folder using Webmin and file manager and the files are there but I cant see them. Any ideas?

I am kind of new to Linux, but I have WU-FTPD working perfectly on my FC3 machine. Could it be the permissions on the files? How about trying to change the FTP directory?

I have checked the permissions and have uploaded files to the folder. After the file is uploaded I see the folder but after a refresh of the screen the icon disappears, I check the file manager in Webmin and the file is there so the permissions are correct and the FTP folder is my home folder on the system so I have full control there. ?????

I will just tell you my setup, my FTP directory is set to 755, and as I recall the files in it are set to 644. I have had the same problem. It shows up in Webmin or SFTP, but not in FTP. Raising the permissions has always fixed the problem for me.

Wu-Ftpd

I have checked the permissions on the folder and files inside the folder and they are set to 754 and they are still not visible when I connect with a GUI interface like Filezilla or IE 6 but are visible when connecting a DOS session.
This problem with not seeing the files is frustrating for me, everything else works without issue.

Please help!

I am sorry, but I do not know what to tell you, except try to set the ftp directory to 755.
