Im trying to get the latest stable version of Kismet working on my Dell Inspiron 600m laptop. Its currently running Slackware 10 with a custom 2.6.7 kernel. For my wireless card, I have a DWL-122 with the latest linux-wlan-ng driver. The card seems to be working fine, I can connect to my wireless network and all, but kismet seems to be causing me problems. I installed and configured it according to the readme, which went fine, but now when I try to start kismet, I get the following error messages:

The FATAL error appears to be what is shutting down kismet, but the WARNING appears to be disabling my wireless card from being used normally after attempting to run kismet. After this happens, I need to reboot my laptop in order to get my card working again. Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix this?
