Fast User Switching

Hello,
Is it possible to have fast user switching in Fedora Core 4 linux?
It is where you can switch from one user to another (another X session) and then switch back to the previous one while still having same windows and programs open when you left.
There must be a way to start another X-window session, type in your password and log on again, then log off, type in your password and go back to your old login and still have the same windows running.

Thanks in advance

You can have multiple X-windows sessions running simultaneously. Using a graphical login, you'll need to just run multiple instances of [x|k|g]dm.
