Unhappy failed dependencies: libcrypto.so.0


hi, i hev a problem installing a yahoo messenger on my mandrake 10 distro of linux. when i instal ymessenger this error occur:

failed dependencies:
libcrypto.so.0 is needed by ymessenger-0.99.19.1mdk.

why?

where can i find this dependencies?

i will apreciate all your suggestion, thank you.

There are several sites on the Internet that are repositories for RPM files.

rpmfind.net
rpm.pbone.net
rpmseek.com
freshrpms.net

Search these sites for RPM packages that contain libcrypto.so.0. An even more convenient way would just be to google "libcrypto.so.0" and usually these websites will show up with an RPM package ready to download for you.

But you should check the Mandrake CD-ROMs first for libcrypto.so.0.
