Yeah, i tried it but had problems with installing the other apps that it needs from source ... see above ^

Why don't you use a rpm?
http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat....i586.rpm.html

Then:
Code:
su #Then write pass
rpm -Uvh python-pygtk-2.0.0-5.i586.rpm

Does this mean that i have to install 1.99.14 first? (i have 1.99.13 installed atm....)

Follow these instructions to the letter:
Download:
ftp://ftp.muni.cz/pub/linux/redhat-r...0.0-1.i386.rpm
ftp://ftp.pbone.net/mirror/ftp.nest....0.0-1.i386.rpm
Note: Put them in the same directory!

Then from the command line(!):
Code:
cd /directory/where/the/files/are
su -c "rpm -Uvh py*"
Make sure there are no other files starting with 'py'.

The problem was that 'pygtk2-libglade' depended on 'pygtk', thus it could not be updated.
To solve it, we told rpm to update pygtk along with pygtk-libglade.

I think it'll work...
