I want to extract a library file named "libshift.so.1.5.2.3" to obtain file libshift.so.2.0. How can I do this?

It would be "better" too keep all questions related to one problem (Garfield-n and libshift.so) together as much as possible. Please ask the moderator to close this thread and focus on the one you already opened for it.
