extending Root file system when it is in NFS

Hi Team,

Need a suggestion , i am extending root file system on one server , but this file system is shared to other server, i want to know will it any issue on on client server will it get any any issue on nfs locks are properties if we did online.

There might be problems but then again there might not. It depends. What happened when you tested it?

In addition please supply details eg which distros are involved, exactly what is the setup?
You can always obscure confidential stuff like just calling hosts server1, server2 etc.
