Ext3 access in windows

Well I know I can read ext3 partitions in windows using a ext2 viewer however I cannot find a program out there that is capable of writing to ext3. Does anyone out there know of such a program?

I'm quite honestly surprised I didn't find any yet. Ext3 is open source, correct? So therefore you would think it to be fairly easy to write a windows program to do the job... then again my programming skills are quite limited so I really wouldn't know.

Thanks

Which all, of course, begs the question of why you would want to do this if you have a perfectly good ext3 read/write program in linux.

BTW: I see there is a unix version for windows...

Well the same reason there are so many ext2 programs for windows and so many people working on solutions to the NTFS write problems for linux which are kind of resolved. Its all a matter of ease of transfer of information across a dual boot system. I am wanting of this because I am working on putting linux on an external drive and it would make my life much easier if I could access the drive directly through my windows OS rather than using knoppix.
