executables in linux


hi!!! all,
shall any body help me how to execute .exe in linux..
can we run Quake and age in linux

.exe are dos/windows binary/executable files. u need to use wine or other dos/windows emulators to run them within a linux system.

Quake has a linux version.

Wine is the Windows Emulator, capable of running much windows executables. There is a special Version for games, called WineX (The packages cost a little bit, but work very good).

For good game ports look at Loki Website, but I'm afraid that loki stopped developement.

PS: There is google ;-) You may find more game ports!
