evolution prob


hi, im using evolution for my email. whan i first setup evolution i said that i wanted to leave the emails on the server. now when i go to delete the email it still stays on the server but doesnt show up in evolution. how can i delete the email on the server as well? i use pop3
do i have to download the emails on to my machine then delete? how can i change the settings for that?
