Evolution has lost accounts settings on Fedora C5

Hi all!
This morning when i woke up my pc (fedora c5) i discovered that evolution had lost all the settings
Looking in /homedir/user/.evolution I can find everithing there was yesterday (filters, accounts, settings...) but it seems that evo lost the link (i don't know if this is the right term to use) to those datas.
Now i've tried to create a new sham account and the old emails, tasks and folders appeared, but i wasn't able to find where evo wrote the new account settings...
Is there anyone who can help me, please?
Thanks

Alex

ok, i've created again all the accounts (and backed-up ~/.gconf/apps/evolution) :(
Now... is there anybody who can tell me how can I link again the address book, please?
Who knows how the structure of the xml file of address book works? All the db files are still in my ~/.evolution, but miss the link ... it seems not to difficult modify the xml files but I'd prefer to have some suggestion.
Thanx!

Alex
