Evolution sends email through a mail server using a protocol ("transport") like SMTP. So "Cannot get transport for account" translates like "this account doesn't have a mail server configured." and it probably asks you to configure one. (Also see Common reasons why emails are not sent.) If you send email through your providers mail server check their documentation how you must configure Evolution for user name, password, mail server address and valid protocols.

SMTP (send) servers usually do NOT require passwords or authentication. So, you just check "No Authentication Required." POP servers require a user name and password. You also have to tell evolution the names of the servers, which can be the same for both send and receive, like sever.mail.domain.ald, or some real mail server name. So, go through and edit the email account and fill that stuff in. If you don't know your email user name, you can't receive email from that server. Also, mail from msn.com, yahoo.com, gmail and other free email require special help to work with evolution.
