Evolution email client

What's the best technique for copying the account, config files and user's email from one system to another (with the exact same version of Evolution)?

I copied the whole .evolution directory but upon starting evolution, it asks you to set everything up all over again.

Is there something else I need to copy?

I've only done this once before, but IIRC set up everything first, *then* copy over all your Emails. No guarantees but I think that's what I did and it seemed to work

What didn't seem to get copied over were the POP settings. Argh. Why would that be in another directory besides ~/.evolution?

Ok this REALLY got on my nerves today, so I went and begged on IRC.

I got pointed to this.

This actually appears to have worked for me.
