Evolution: Can't Empty Trash; Summary and Folder Mismatch
 

Hi, Folks,

I'm running Evolution 2.0.1 on SuSE 9.2 Pro (basically, the version 9.2 came with). I recently updated to 9.2, and after a particular patch had a kernel panic (oh joy). After running the fix procedures from the SuSE site, I have discovered this little problem with Evolution.

Everytime I attempt to empty the trash, I get an error --

Error while Expunging folder.
Error storing `~/.evolution/mail/local/class/Virtual Classroom (mbox)': Summary and folder mismatch, even after a sync.

Obviously, something somewhere is munged.

Evolution is also showing some other anomalies: Every time I move an email, it also copies it into the Trash folder (which is getting pretty full).

Does anyone have any idea where I may start to fix this issue?

Tried removing the folders manually and reinstall, nothing. tried undelete all, then empty trash (works but trash is empty) then delete and empty trash again, same error, my trash is getting very full now...

anyone pls help
