I am running red-hat 8 and I am using the latest version of evolution. The problem I am having, is that when I send mail people don't receive it. I have evolution configured to use sendmail for sending mail. I can't use SMTP because my network admin doesn't want us using that (we got hacked a while back and he is still paranoid). I don't think that this is a problem with Evolution exactly, because I used Kmail and I had the same problem. Is there something I have to configure? Is there somewhere I can look for error messages?

no smtp no mail if the port is closed you can send it it can leave your machine but cant pass the firewall that your admin is using. you can do anything
