Evolution

I just installed Evolution. I was able to get it set up, but the only way that I could get it to open was from the shell. How would I go about getting an icon for it? I looked in the Evolution folder but saw nothing that looked like a way to start the program.
Also after I set it up I noticed that there appeared to be a bunch of error messages. This is what was left in the shell after I closed Evolution:

michael@linux:~> evolution

Is this something bad? If so what can I do to fix it?
