I made changes in the /etc/sysconfig/desktop file.
I am editing it and its going well.
What i want is the rpm to edit.
I would be more clear.
I want to make changes in the rpm directly ..not editing the system file.
looking forward for reply

not sure what you're trying to acheive here.
you want to make your own rpm?
rpms are only needed when installing/upgrading things.
to see what rpm the file belongs to type rpm -q -f /etc/sysconfig/desktop

I dont need to write my own rpm.
I need to know what rpm hold s for /etc/sysconfig/desktop
