it would seem like grep is posibly corrupted, best thing is probably to try to reinstall grep from a rescue disk

Hi, I'm newbie also, I 've donwlaoded the grep from gnu.org and I try to install, unfourtonality I can't do this because throw segmentation fault in the "ln" command, so I will try to reinstall ln too.

In a forum I read tha this problem could be a virus, anyone know that ?
