Post /etc/motd


How can I make an color text in /etc/motd and when someone logins into my shell to see the message in color?

Multiple messages?

as in random ones or several lines?

I use fortune for random quotes when my users login, for several lines i have each one starting with echo

Code:
echo "text"
echo "text"
echo "text"
But that's because my shell scripting is a bit pants.
