errors in messages log


I am recevieing the following messages in /var/log/messages,
"Oct 20 12:16:06 summit mgetty[14022]: init chat failed, exiting...: Interrupted
system call
Oct 20 12:16:06 summit mgetty[14022]: failed in mg_init_data, dev=ttyS0, pid=140
22
Oct 20 12:16:06 summit init: open(/dev/pts/0): No such file or directory"


Can anyone advise why this is happening?

has something to do with rhgb (RedHatGraphicalBoot) must be a timing problem i think.
