I have tried inserting my windows xp disk to reinstall windows but my computer
Docent seem to recognize the disk( in other words when I insert the disk
Nothing happens) I even tried inserting the Linux disk but nothing came up.

To use a "rescue" disk, you need to tell your computer to boot from whatever drive you put the disk in. Normally do this from the BIOS.
