Error: unknown filesystem grub rescue

Hey guys. I deleted my ubuntu 10.10 partition from windows 7 and when I rebooted my comPuter this message came up after the motherboard message

Error: unknown filesystem
Grub rescue

I have tried inserting my windows xp disk to reinstall windows but my computer
Docent seem to recognize the disk( in other words when I insert the disk
Nothing happens) I even tried inserting the Linux disk but nothing came up.
I am stuck and don't know what to do.

My motherboard is an asus m3a78-cm

Many thanks in advance

To use a "rescue" disk, you need to tell your computer to boot from whatever drive you put the disk in. Normally do this from the BIOS.
