Error opening /dev/wacom no such file or directory xf860OpenSerial cannot open device /dev/wacom This text repeats several times i got the error when installing nvidia drivers from website after the install with apt-get... (because there appears to be no 3d acceleration in the drivers with the distro) I think that might be the problem and I don't know where to start looking to resolve it. Still I don't know how to install the nvidia drivers correctly without apt-get ... |
Did you try the binary nvidia driver from the site? It comes with good instructions. You can even set up twinview on different-sized monitors.
