Unhappy Error Messages at startup of KDE

I get two error messages when I start up KDE. One looks like:

Warning - artsmessage

Sound Server warning message:

unix_connect: can't connect to server
(unix:/tmp/mcop-kirk/kde_k-pdt-09f4-40e9740c)

And that's what that one says. That one pops up three times every time I log in. And there's another, but I'll post it in another thread later when I restart and get it again.

Also, can anyone tell me how to disable just one sound? Like the one that happens when you're playing Kolf and a window appears that says:
"player 1 will start this round."
I don't know how to disable it, and it is getting annoying, so I need help. Thanks.
