error message where i tried update a system


hi
i have the following message when i tried to update my system :

Some updates require the removal of further software. Use the function "Mark All Upgrades" of the package manager "Synaptic" or run "sudo apt-get dist-upgrade" in a terminal to update your system completely.

i dont wich software removed

Are you running Ubuntu or something? Open up a root terminal and run `apt-get dist-upgrade`; or use that "use sudo for everything" "Ubuntu way" and run `sudo apt-get dist-upgrade`. Do this from gnome-terminal or whatever.
