Error in Imagemagick!

Using Linux Mint 11 LXDE, I ran this to covert a pdf to tiff with Imagemagick:
Code:
convert The_Tao_of_Abundance.pdf The_Tao_of_Abundance.tiff
And I got the following:
Code:
convert: unable to open image `The_Tao_of_Abundance.pdf': @ error/blob.c/OpenBlob/2498.
convert: missing an image filename `The_Tao_of_Abundance.tiff' @ error/convert.c/ConvertImageCommand/2970.
Does the folder have to be in a particular folder or something?

The way you invoked it in suggest to the program that the file is in
the current working directory.

Dunno? Not using the right filename? Case? Leading/trailing spaces in the
files name?
