Hi,
I asm trying to compile Xchat2.1 on my Suse 10.0 PC and ended up with the following error. Can anyone please help me what's going wrong?

first is there some reason for using such an old (2 years old) version and not using 2.6.1 ?

basically its just a misconfigured makefile
might be some things to try if you need the older version
one of them
./configure --with-gnu-ld

as a nasty dirty hack you might try removing the contents of the Makefile variable
GUI_LIBS =
and make it empty
