Smile equivalent to these APIs


i want to know the linux equivalent of the following APIs:
GetSystemMetrics
GetLocalTime
GetLocaleInfo
GetDateFormat

GetSystemMetrics lacks a linux equivalent. Since we have various libraries such as GTK, QT, LessTif and Motif, you need to interface with those libraries to determine the sizes of widgets and such.

GetLocalTime is similar to localtime. Check manpage localtime for more info.

For GetLocaleInfo, look at man locale

For GetDataFormat, check out LC_TIME of, mentioned above, locale
