Rhythmbox doesn't have one (not even as a plugin, as far as I know after googling), but I found out how to do it system-wide: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...-probs-630068/
I hope that helps

Look this - www.deviantdark.altervista.org/?p=438

But to apply changes in equalizer you must restart rhythmbox or equalizer-plugin...

I tried to show where you can find a couple of plugins for Rhythmbox, including an equalizer, but it won't post because of forum "SPAM" rules, and I need to post again I guess.

I even removed the addresses to the plugins and had just stated how you can find the address, but that wouldn't post either.

Real frustrating when you try to help and you are stopped cold.

I also could have posted in two other places, to "cover" the "extra" post I need before posting web site addresses, but both were either "closed" postings and/or closed to further comments.

I have run into these hundreds of times and it's getting to the point where I don't even feel like taking the time and effort to join, when I'm stopped from posting, or when the thread is closed time and time again, and I do see the reason(s) why, all I'm saying is that it's starting to discourage me from joining and attempting to help out and maybe even from reading posts, unless I am having a problem, then I'll read and search for maybe hours or even days to see if an answer has been posted somewhere.

Anyway, "three strikes and you're out" as the saying goes, and this wil be my third time and if this doesn't post, then I won't try again on this topic.

The post is getting old anyway.

How can I do this without the forum thinking I'm posting a website??? Hmm...

OK, I'll put it this way, there's a guy who posted a web address to where you can find an equalizer for Rhythmbox, and if you go to the Rhythmbox forum where Rhythmbox's music can be "scrobbled" to, which I can't say where it is because the forum will "see" it as a website address and won't post then, and you can go there to the forum by starting/opening Rhythmbox, then go to the edit screen of where the music is "scrobbled" to, there, in that "plugin," you'll see the address of the forum where the address to the plugin is.

(Adding this comment as the 4th attempt to post):

"I was going to quit trying, as even the third attempt wouldn't post, but decided to remove the address showing in the "Quoted Text." Maybe it will post now, but this 4th attempt will be the last attempt. If this won't post now, I won't try to answer this post again."

See below site for Rhythmbox EQ plug-in. It's not mine, but I tried it and it works for me on Ubuntu 10.04 x86 (32bit) with all updates as of today 10/10/2010.
