enlightenment


anyone know when enlightenment 17 is coming out?

for enlightenment 16.5, how to i get some kind of tool bar like the windows start menue, or that gnome foot thing? - i dont like to memorize the names of all of my appz and games

You can edit your menu list that enlightenment uses. Take a look in the .enlightenment directory in your user's home directory for the config files.. Not at machine at this time so couldn't tell you off top of my head.

A toolbar? I think clicking your mouse buttons on the desktop will yeild some sort of menu, if it was generated during first run of E, I am not using E anymore switched to fluxbox.

type panel & in terminal and this should give you a toolbar...

...there is also something called FancyLauncher either in the epplets submenu or available for download out there. It can be edited as well
