i downloaded the enlightenment rpms and when i tried to install them it said i need lib something or another 1.9 or above, so i downloaded it and tried to install that and it said i needed another rpm so i downloaded that and it said I need four files, so I downloaded those files, but after installing those rpms it still can't install lib something or another 1.9. could someone give me all the files needed for enlightenment on a default install of redhat 8.0.

did you get devel packages as well (not all of them have devel packages accossiated with them) for these libs that are missing, anyway we need something more descriptive than lib something.

can you put the text of the error message here? I think I had the same one last night and I am not exactly sure how I fixed it but it is gone now and a new one has taken its place.

I'm compiling mine from source and when I did the ./configure I got an error message bout the imlib not being available.

that problem is gone but now when I do "make" the post below is the out put of my error message.

That should be it. What I am unsure of is if there is a certain order they need to be installed. I also know that there is a path statement for the imlib that needs to be created but I'm not sure how to do it.
