Encoding multiple videos to one video in a grid/matrix

Hi,

I have some CCTV footage in the following format:
Code:
RIFF (little-endian) data, AVI, 352 x 288, 25.00 fps, video: XviD
I want to be able to output multiple files to one video file which shows them all running side-by-side in a grid/matrix form.

For this specific task I have 3 videos so the output video would be 704x576 with the 3 videos playing in 3 of the quarters and the 4th remaining blank.

Are there any tools in Ubuntu/Debian to be able to do this?

Tom

Hi,

Use ffmpeg. It can use files for input and output, or even streams. So you can merge, split or convert your CCTV streams on the fly.

GOOGLE it: https://www.google.com/search?q=ffmp...ure+in+picture
