EMACS won't save changes
 

Well, I'm still struggling with emacs. While editing a text file, I'm changing the font face to bold and the font color to red at some places. When I save the file and re-open it, all the chages are lost, the text just appears normal. What should I do?

You can put the colors in your ~/.emacs file. If anyone likes I could email them mine. It is too long to post.
