Hi

I just installed this eLViS software and I need advice on how to configure it. The problem is, I can't get any picture to the screen. I have a VCR connected to my PC (Hauppauge ImpactVCB 558) and it seems OK with AviCap and TvTime. However, with eLViS I can't see a thing. I know its not meant for use with VCR, but it should work, shouldn't it? I have connected it like I'd connect a composite camera and the signal is... composite .

I have set the right device on motion.conf (/dev/video0). Is there any other options that might keep me from seeing the picture? Should I post the whole motion.conf here so you gurus can take a look at it?

BTW: On eLViS's webpage they say it should work perfectly (and easily) on MDK10.

Ok, I have another problem...

The Hauppauge ImpactVCB 558 card that I have, has 3x Composite In and 1x S-Video In connections. With TvTime, Composite 1 works flawlessly, but the others don't. In TvTime, I can also choose 'Composite 3' or 'S-Video', but it doesn't show anything on the screen. Any idea?
