elinks and duckduckgo.com

hey,

I just built elinks on slackware. All the sites I tried worked fine, even gmail.com but for some reason when I go to duckduckgo.com. It's just blank, is this an elinks problem? can anyone confirm it. I'm using Slackware 13.37

What to confirm? You haven't told people which version of elinks and
with which flags you configured it?

I built elinks 0.12-20110716 on slackware64 13.1 and duckduckgo works.

Cheers,
Tink

That might or might not work for you; as I said, I'm still on 13.1.

You may want to test this one (anyway, a version of elinks somewhat younger
than 4+ years might be a good idea).

aha! found the issue. It has to do with the zlib in slackware 13.37.It was loading gziped websites or something like that. I just disabled it in the configure options and it works fine now. Thank you for your help. Marking as solved.
